Magazines

Confession:
I read a classmate’s blog about being a magazine junkie. I have never purchased a magazine. I guess this would make me the opposite of this person. A visit to Barnes and Nobles a couple of days ago changed my status. I purchased each of the magazines on the suggested list.

Going though the periodicals a page at a time, I can to realize how this person could adapt that attitude. These publications are quite motivating; I see now why they are suggested. More purchases are on the horizon. Speaking of which, Rolling Stone’s one issue price $4.50.

They have a special 26 issues for $19.95.

You think you'll become a mag junkie, huh? :)

Like you, I'm not a natural magazine person. Don't get me wrong, I love certain magazines. Maybe it's a matter of time . Vanity Fair has always been my poison.

I'm more of a book person. Even with those, I buy but don't have time to read.

Sounds like your B&N trip was fun! Maybe a bit expensive, but fun!

Don't worry I don't buy many mags either. I just read my news online.

My goodness, I just can't believe that you have never, ever purchased a magazine before this class. I am a reading addict and if I go some where, especially traveling and I can't get my hands on something to read I go crazy and am forced to buy a magazine or two. But that is not often, when I travel I mail my magazines that I never get a chance to read to the hotel. Whenever I have free time, reading is my favorite friend. I watch very, very, little television. People at work get mad at me because whatever show they're talking about I haven't seen.

That's me,
Pisces

You'll love magazines, there are so many kinds for everything you could think of. You had better be careful becuz you could end up a mag junkie. Have fun exploring the world of mags.
